Unfortunately, Hungarians don't celebrate Thanksgiving but we will celebrate it as a district on Thursday so no worries! This past week we got to go to Budapest twice because Elder Smith had a doctor's appointment. He had two appointments on Friday so in between the time we visited Parliament which is like the coolest building in Hungary!!
On P-day we went bowling which was fun! After not bowling in like forever we didn't break 100 but its all good because we are serving the Lord!
We tried to contact Krisztian but he still was not home so we will try again this week. Because we went to Budapest twice our numbers were low but the lessons we had were high quality! I certainly felt the spirit! Andi is progressing well. She still has not received an answer about the Book of Mormon but we told her not to give up and keep praying. We talked about the importance of church again to her and I truly felt the gift of tongues working between me and Elder Smith! We will be fasting for her this week!
Seeing that this week is Thanksgiving it is definitely important to always be grateful for what you have! I am so blessed to have been able to be born in such a blessed country with a blessed family! I will never take that for granted! I am grateful to serve in a great country with people who definitely need the gospel! The gospel brings such happiness that cannot be felt anywhere else. As I see the investigators, we have changed their lives. It is truly miraculous! The Atonement is truly miraculous! I miss you all and have a great Thanksgiving!!!
Szeretlek,
Elder Ballard
