Week 16: Went to Miskolc... Twice

Halasztok,
This was a Miskolc week. We went to Miskolc twice this past week. Once for splits and the other for President's interviews. It is so cool seeing how other cities are celebrating Christmas! It seems to be a thing here to set up a big Christmas market with lights and Christmas trees. I kind of wish that would be more of a thing in America. But it's all good!
Thursday was the beginning of Light the World! I once again encourage all of you to follow the calender and provide service to those who are in need of it! It could just be something simple like picking up trash or picking up leaves. I know that whenever I do service and turn outward, I am the most happiest!
Funny moment: We have been running into a few funny people lately. We have had a man told us about illumenati, one talking about the play Jesus Christ Superstar and if our church believed in THAT Jesus Christ, and another thinking we were terrorists. Oh Hungary!
Yesterday we went to a village outside of Debrecen to meet with a less active family. We decided to tract there because missionaries have not tracted there in a while. Within a couple of minutes we had 2 return appointments. It was amazing!!! After we came back to Debrecen, we met with the family we planned on extending a baptismal date to. They did not agree to a specific date but they are willing to read and pray about the Book of Mormon!
An awesome story was when I was in Miskolc, me and my zone leader, Elder Dietrich from Germany, went and visited a less active woman who was sick. We were able to give her the sacrament and give her a priesthood blessing. She kept saying over and over about how much she felt Jesus Christ's love for her. The spirit was truly there! Serve others you wil be so much happier and you will draw closer to Christ!
I love you all and have a great week!
