Sziasztok!
I hope you all had a fantastic
Thanksgiving! As a district, we made our own Thanksgiving dinner at the branch
house. Instead of a turkey we ate a goose as the main meal! Super good!
This week was a great blessing!
At the beginning we went through the refiner's fire a bit. We had néni's
yelling at us, doors slammed, and investigators dropped. What was really sad
was that when we finally contacted Krisztian, the potential investigator that
told us about his dad, he ended up not wanting to meet with us.
As the week went on, however,
we eventually found success. On Saturday night while we were about to tract
some 4 stories, we found this family that had a daughter that was moving to the
top floor. They needed help moving all her furniture up to the top. We asked if
they needed help and they joyfully accepted our help. What was funny was that
she lived on the fourth floor last door! What a coincidence! It was such
a blessing and privilege to help this family. We gave them the new Christmas
pass along card and talked about service to them and Jesus Christ. I know the
Lord guided us to this family in need!
Then, yesterday we followed up
with this family who we tracted into last week! They were really curious and
asked a lot of questions about the church. They were also intrigued at how we
were from America. We gave them a Book of Mormon and talked about its power.
What was awesome was that the father does not work on Sundays! We set up a return
appointment for next Sunday and we plan to bap date them!
The church put out the new
Christmas video! I encourage you to all to watch it, share it, and to give
service this Christmas season! Christmas is a great time to share the gospel! I
love you all and let us légy a világ világossága (light the world)!!!
