Week 65: What makes you happy?

Nowadays we are asking a lot of people this question and it is getting a lot of good response! So that is why I posed it this week. You can ask yourselves this: what makes you happy?

It was super cool because this question causes a lot of people to think especially among the youth. This week we had the youth write down what makes them happy on our white board and we were able to talk to a lot of them about the church.

The Bradshaws, the self-reliance couple, showed a video about Elder Andersen's broadcast to the missionaries about the importance of talking to the youth. It was super cool because he was in a meeting with all the general authorities of the church and he had all of them stand up, who were converts, who got baptized young. Nearly a third of the room stood up! In Győr, there are a lot of youth so we are excited to help them!

This week we got to go on splits with the zone leaders and it was super good! I am learning to take account of myself and my actions. I went on splits with Elder Mckim who is from Australia and he is super good and speaks the language well. His australian accent started to rubb off on me near the end of the exchange :)

Also yesterday we got to go to Budapest for stake conference! It was super cool because I got to see old members from Kispest and Buda! The first counselor in the Győr bishopric drove us over.

Take care all of you and always be an example of light!

Love,
Elder Ballard
