Week 80: Majdnem Meghalt a Társomnak Fényképezőgépe

So this week on Monday we decided to go do a temple tour and see all the main temples in Győr. We rode our bikes all around the downtown area of Győr and we took several pictures. We also got to throw a Frisbee and whip on an island in the center of Győr. While riding, Elder Hess's camera took a hard hit and fell into a puddle. We ran home and put in the bowl of rice and now it works fine #miracle.

Yesterday, Roland came to church and he said he felt really good during sacrament meeting. We are meeting with him on Thursday with our ward mission leader. We are going to help him get off of smoking. He said he really wants too but he needs help. We are also meeting with Eszter this week. We have not met with her since she had her baby but she is feeling up to meeting so we are excited.

We went on two exchanges this week, once with Elder Gajdos (my old companion) and Elder Huber and the other with Elder Beeton and Elder Millett. We are working on relying on the spirit and addressing our investigator's concerns and needs. We got two let-ins in both of our exchanges which were pretty cool. We went to a village outside of Győr and despite it snowing a bit we went tracting and we got a let-in by an older lady whose son was also home. We taught them the restoration.

On Saturday, Tatabánya had a baptism and they came up to Győr for it. I got to say hi to some of the members and talk with them. We also did a special musical number. The spirit was really strong and I felt so happy seeing them happy! That was the first baptism in Tatabánya in over 2 years!

After the baptism, there was a doughnut/costume party. In Hungary, people celebrate the ending of winter by dressing up and "scaring" away the winter. So we had a costume contest and the kids dressed up as well as the bishop.

I read this week out of the Book of Mormon and I wanted to share it with you all: (Moroni 78:36-37)

36 Or have angels ceased to appear unto the children of men? Or has he withheld the power of the Holy Ghost from them? Or will he, so long as time shall last, or the earth shall stand, or there shall be one man upon the face thereof to be saved?

37 Behold I say unto you, Nay; for it is by faith that miracles are wrought; and it is by faith that angels appear and minister unto men; wherefore, if these things have ceased wo be unto the children of men, for it is because of unbelief, and all is vain.

Angels are real and miracles are real. We need to have faith! I love you all!

Can you guess how many temples are in the one picture?
