So this week was kind of crazzzyyy with transfers and all
but I settled in well in Dunaújváros. The building is very nice and the members
are the kindest ever! They were all pretty surprised with my last name. Anyways, Elder Lister is awesome! He is 25 so he is a couple years older than
me but he is the kindest missionary! He is going home this transfer so me and
him are going to go hard this transfer! He is from Ft. Collins, Colorado and
went to BYU for 3 years. We are starting BYU at the same time this
year.
Anyways, our district consists of 2 sister missionaries and
the elders in Székesfehérvár. Elder Howard from Székes is the district leader
so we will be going to Székes a lot this transfer. We were there twice this
week, once for splits and the other for a baptismal interview. Exchanges went
really well! While we were whiteboarding in the downtown area of Székes, this
lady comes up to me and says she wants a Book of Mormon. She lived in Russia
and wanted a Hungarian Book of Mormon but never received one. It was a miracle
we ran into her because she has been living in Székes for the past couple of
years and never saw the missionaries. We were able to give her one and we
exchanged numbers!
This week we will be going to Budapest twice because Elder
Johnson from the area presidency is coming to speak to us! I am really excited
to hear from him this week! I hope you all are doing great! I love you all and
have a great week!
Love,
Elder Ballard
