Week 84: A Trip to the Hospital But All is Well!

So I'll get the email subject out of the way first. On Saturday, Elder Lister had a fever and so he took some cold medicene and went to bed. But, on Sunday morning at around 3 am he woke up and said he had intense stomach pain so after calling Sister Szabadkai, we went over to the hospital and after a series of tests and checkups, everything turned out fine. It turned out to be a bad stomach ach from food poisoning. We are grateful we didn't have to stay there more than a day. I have never been that bored in my life!

Anyways, this week we met with three of our investigators: Zsofi, Szandra, and László. Szandra's parents are both members and she expressed that she will be baptized, it is just a matter of when. We will be talking about that today.

This week we also went on splits with the Pécs elders. I went with Elder Jameson who is in the pic. He is super cool! He was born in Utah and he came to country in August when I was secretary! He is serving with Elder Fisher, my MTC companion.

Despite the craziness of life, when I pray, I almost always feel the spirit. When I express my feelings, thoughts, and concerns, the spirit is always there. I challenge you all to pray with a sincere heart and pray as if you are talking with Heavenly Father. His love is always there. Also be sure to invite your friends to watch and share the Easter message which can be found at lds.org! The Lord's new prophet will talk with us this coming week. Be prepared for that! This will be a fantastic and unique general conference! I love you all and have a Boldog Húsvétét!

Love,
Elder Ballard
