Csaósztok!
This week we were really busy with missionary leadership
council, splits, and lessons. Missionary leadership council was really good! We
are putting a focus on Chapter 2 of Preach My Gospel and honestly from studying
this chapter, my personal studies have gotten a lot better. Elder Lister and I are working on a training for this week in zone conferences and we are
excited!
On P-day we went to visit an art gallery which was pretty
cool. The one with the arms stretched out trying to grab the heart is called the
"ragasztalan szív" or the unstickable heart. We saw other famous
Dunaújváros's artists' works as well.
We went to Pécs which is where President and Sister
Szabadkai are from. I got to go on splits with Elder Fisher, my old MTC comp
and it was really good. We felt the spirit and we found a lot of potentials. We
also went white boarding with the question "where did you all come
from." We related it to where we came from before we were born. Pécs is
super pretty and it reminded me of Szentendre!
The biggest news this week happened when we met our recent
convert named Eszter. She has several grandchildren that live with her. Over
the past two meetings, we have been trying to see if any of them would be
interested in the gospel. One of them seemed to express some interest and we
started involving her in the recent convert lessons with Eszter. Her name is
Szandra and we invited her to be baptized and she said yes!! We planned the
date for June 23 since we have a lot to teach her but we are excited for her!
I love you all and I am grateful for all your prayers on my
behalf! I love Hungary and this experience is incredible!
Love,
Elder Ballard

| Apparently the best gyros place in Hungary. Splits with Elder Fisher! |
