Week 90: And So it begins...

And so it begins the beginning of the last transfer...

I learned a lot from Elder Lister this transfer and I am grateful for his example and for him helping me. He served very well. This morning I got the call and I am staying in Dunaújváros and I will be getting Elder Martin with whom I served with in Győr!! He plays the violin super super super well and also plays the piano fantastically! I am excited to serve with him and to find all those ready to be baptized this transfer! "Let us all press on in the work of the Lord"

I found out that our district has all of sudden gotten a lot bigger. We will be having district meetings in Budapest because our district will include us and the sisters here, the assistants, the secretaries, the missionaries in Érd, and the missionaries in Tatabánya! The mission is condensing due to the new mission president coming in and the changes in the mission in July. I am excited to work with all of the missionaries in the zone!

This week on Sunday we got to go to Budapest for stake conference! It was super cool seeing all the members I served with in the stake! It was a great reunion and I love them so much! This week we also met with a couple of investigators. Szandra is doing well with her baptismal date, she was at stake conference on Sunday and she listened throughout the whole conference. We are meeting with her tonight to talk about it. We also met with Szilárd and Elder Lister and Elder Lowe met with him on splits and they said he said a beautiful prayer! We also ran into his sister-in law while tracting yesterday as well #miracle.

I got to go on splits with Elder Gentry, from my MTC group, and it went well! We found a lot and we got a lot of new potential investigators. That man is a machine I tell you.

This past week, I have been working to say more meaningful prayers. As a missionary, you pray a lot and it is easy to not put in a lot of effort in your prayers. I still am working on it but I have noticed that the spirit is in its abundance when you pray meaningfully and when you consult or council with your Heavenly Father. We taught several people that concept this week and I am grateful for it because prayer is the way we can feel closer to God.

I encourage you all to pray and counsel with your Father in Heaven. He loves you and wants to you to reach to Him so that He can help you. Thank you for all your prayers on my behalf.

Hajra,
Elder Ballard
